Senior Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps practices for a product company.
Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure
- Experience with DevOps practices and Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience supporting cloud migration and separation projects
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity design and testing
- Experience improving monitoring, alerting and observability
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, secrets and certificates
- Ability to provide technical guidance on Azure architecture and platform engineering
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
- Ability to work collaboratively with development and technology teams
- Own and manage our Azure cloud estate, ensuring security, reliability and cost efficiency
- Lead the adoption of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, including bringing existing infrastructure under management
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support cloud migration and separation projects across Azure and GCP
- Design, automate and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Improve monitoring, alerting and observability across our platform
- Manage cloud security, identity, secrets and certificates
- Provide technical guidance on Azure architecture and platform engineering
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as a senior technical escalation point

We are partnering with an established and growing data business based in Nottingham to hire a Senior Platform Engineer for a hybrid role, with a minimum of 1 day per week in our Nottingham office. This is a hands-on position with genuine ownership and influence, where you will help shape our next stage of platform growth.
