Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve internal platform capabilities used by engineering teams globally.
- Develop automation and self-service tooling that improves developer productivity and reduces operational overhead.
- Enhance CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure platforms to improve reliability and scalability.
- Build and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure supporting critical business systems.
- Drive Platform Engineering best practices across software delivery, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Partner with engineering teams to understand challenges and deliver solutions that improve workflows and efficiency.
- Improve system resilience, security, and operational excellence across the technology estate.
- Lead strategic platform initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the long-term direction of the engineering platform.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong background building platforms that support large engineering organisations.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and modern automation tooling.
- Strong software engineering mindset with experience writing code to automate and solve infrastructure challenges.
- Experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade platform services.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies.
- Proven ability to work directly with engineering stakeholders and drive adoption of platform solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
