Senior Platform Engineer - Snowflake (Azure)
Sydney | 6-month contract | Potential extension
Talent International is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to support the design, automation and management of its Snowflake platform on Azure.
We're looking for someone with strong hands-on experience across Snowflake, Azure, Terraform and CI/CD, ideally within banking or financial services.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure and manage Snowflake environments on Microsoft Azure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
Configure Azure services including Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID, networking and security integrations.
Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles, permissions and integrations.
Automate deployments, environment promotions, releases and rollback processes.
Implement monitoring, logging, security controls and operational improvements.
Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure reliability, security and performance.
About You
Minimum 5 years' relevant platform engineering experience.
Experience delivering at least two Snowflake implementations on Azure.
Strong hands-on expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.
Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket and DevSecOps practices.
Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, identity management, networking and cloud security.
Experience managing enterprise Snowflake environments across development, testing and production.
Previous experience in banking, financial services or other regulated environments will be highly regarded.
