Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Debug complex issues across the application and infrastructure stack, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance standards.
• Collaborate with the development team to refine the development process and come up with solutions to improve developer productivity.
• Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate within the team and across other teams to achieve the common organizational goal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability, and strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps space.

Requirements:

• Experience working on one or more cloud providers, like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in deploying containerized applications, like Docker and Kubernetes, for production workloads.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e. g. Python, Go, Shell).
• Ability to create infrastructure as code, preferably with Terraform.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Share knowledge through technical presentations and written documentation.
