Objectives
- Amanotes is seeking a Playable Ads Developer who can provide users with an engaging and interactive gameplay experience. Playable ads are designed to be opt-in, true to the nature of the game, and provide users with an immersive and enjoyable ad experience.
- In this role, you will be responsible for converting existing games into playable games. To be successful, you will need to create a compelling gaming demo experience that appeals to a broad audience.
What you will do

Explore and expand playable ad development beyond Unity/Luna by evaluating and implementing web-based approaches such as Cocos Creator, Phaser or PixiJS with TypeScript/JavaScript.
-
Design reusable, modular and data-driven playable templates that support rapid asset, level, theme and endcard customization without rewriting core gameplay logic.
-
Build automation-ready workflows for asset replacement, level/config generation, batch variant creation, build packaging, preview generation and technical QA across playable ad networks.
-
Develop and maintain lightweight HTML5 playable builds using web tooling such as Node.js/npm and Webpack, Vite or equivalent bundlers, while optimizing asset size, runtime performance and responsive behavior.
-
Integrate lifecycle, CTA and custom tracking events for A/B testing, and troubleshoot platform, SDK and ad-network-specific issues.
-
Lead technical explorations, code reviews and documentation standards, and mentor other playable developers on multi-stack development, performance optimization and automation.
Qualifications
Experience:
-
Advanced experience with Unity/C# and Luna or a comparable playable ads production workflow.
-
Strong experience with at least one web game/playable framework, such as Cocos Creator, Phaser or PixiJS, using TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
-
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS responsive layout, Canvas/WebGL, mobile browser behavior, touch input and device orientation.
-
Experience with Node.js/npm, Webpack, Vite or equivalent tooling for bundling and shipping lightweight HTML5 builds.
-
Experience designing reusable templates and data/config-driven gameplay systems for rapid iteration and variant production.
-
Experience building automation or internal tools for asset processing, level/config generation, batch builds, technical validation, QA or publishing workflows.
-
Strong knowledge of performance and build-size optimization, including image/audio compression, texture atlases, minification and runtime profiling.
-
Experience integrating SDKs, CTA/lifecycle events, analytics or ad-network-specific requirements is highly valued.
-
Able to use Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or shell scripting to automate repetitive development and production tasks.
-
Strong plus: PixiJS, WebGL shaders, CI/CD, no-code parameterization, AI-assisted development, SALA/Snapbeat or similar automation systems.
