Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Application Engineer (AE) to serve as the key technical bridge between our R&D team and Tier-1 customer system architecture teams. You will drive Design-in and Design-win activities for high-density Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC) and modular brick power supplies, providing expert system-level integration support, circuit/layout optimization, and advanced failure analysis.
1. Customer Integration & Design-In Support (Design-In / Design-Win):
Drive technical promotion and application integration for Intermediate Bus
Converters (IBC) and modular brick power supplies.
Deeply understand customer system architectures in AI Servers, Telecom,
networking, and Industrial computing; conduct circuit and PCB layout reviews to
minimize parasitic parameters (ESR, ESL, and stray inductances) under high-
frequency and high-current conditions.
2. Bench Evaluation & Application Testing:
Lead the setup and testing of Demo Boards and Reference Designs.
Evaluate system transient response, thermal performance, and efficiency profiling;
resolve switching spikes, dead-time optimizations, and EMI filter challenges.
3. Failure Analysis & Debugging (FA / RMA Analysis):
Conduct on-site debugging and root-cause failure analysis to differentiate
between system-level EOS (Electrical Overstress), parasitic effects, or module
anomalies.
Author professional Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
4. Technical Documentation & Product Definition:
Author application notes, design guides, and technical FAQs.
Collect front-line customer technical needs and industry trends (e.g., LLC
topologies, PMBus digital control) to collaborate with R&D in defining
next-generation product specs
