Job Description

We are looking for experienced Senior Power BI Developers with 810 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Business Intelligence solutions for freelance, part-time project support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Develop complex data models and establish relationships between datasets.
• Write advanced DAX calculations, measures, and calculated columns.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using Power Query.
• Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Excel, Azure, Snowflake, and other data sources.
• Develop optimized reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.
• Manage Power BI Service, workspaces, gateways, and scheduled data refreshes.
• Optimize dashboard performance and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for ongoing Power BI projects.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI Development.
• Advanced DAX, Power Query, and M Language.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Strong SQL Server and database querying skills.
• Data Modeling Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports.
• Power BI Gateway, Scheduled Refresh, and Workspace Management.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) and Data Security.
• Integration with Excel, Azure, Snowflake, and other data sources.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Performance optimization and report troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification preferred.
