Senior Power Platform Developer (Dynamics 365 / Power Pages)

About the organisation: Our client is a Commonwealth agency delivering essential regulatory services nationally. It is investing in a digital-first approach that makes it simpler for customers to deal with government and faster for staff to deliver services.

About the role: You will join an in-flight portal program built in-house on the Microsoft platform. Working in a small project team alongside business stakeholders, you will build new services end to end and provide technical leadership to fellow engineers.

What you will be doing

• Build portal features on Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Pages
• Develop front-end components in JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js
• Write C#/.NET services, REST APIs and SQL integrations
• Integrate with Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps and Power Automate
• Ship through Azure DevOps with source control and CI/CD

Skills and experience

• Hands-on Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Pages development (essential)
• Strong C#, .NET, REST, JSON and SQL full-stack skills
• JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and a modern framework, ideally Vue.js
• Azure integration and Azure DevOps CI/CD in established architectures
• Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, D365, Azure, AI) and AI Builder or Copilot exposure highly regarded

Eligibility

• Australian citizenship required
• Current Baseline security clearance or higher (ideal)
• Canberra-based candidates preferred. Strong interstate candidates will be considered

Contract details

• Start: early October 2026, subject to notice period
• Term: 12 months with two 12 month extension options
• Hours: up to 40 per week
• Location: Canberra, ACT, hybrid
