Senior PR Manager

As a Senior PR Manager, you will lead the direction and delivery of integrated PR strategies for a portfolio of clients. Acting as a trusted communications advisor, you will translate business objectives into impactful communications strategies, oversee execution and own day-to-day client relationships.

Working closely with colleagues in the UK and RC globally, you will play a key role in developing Redgert’s PR offering, driving commercial growth and ensuring our work continues to set the standard across consumer and corporate communications.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead a portfolio of key accounts across a range of sectors, taking ownership of strategy, delivery and commercial success
  • Act as the senior day-to-day client lead, building trusted relationships through proactive counsel and strategic advice
  • Lead multi-market accounts where relevant, acting as the primary client contact and coordinating activity across teams in other markets
  • Translate client briefs into clear, measurable communications strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Anticipate client challenges and communications risks, providing proactive recommendations and solutions
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client partnerships by proactively recommending new ideas, services and opportunities that deliver value for clients and positive commercial impact for RC
  • Take accountability for client satisfaction and performance

Campaign Delivery

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of integrated PR campaigns, ensuring work is delivered to the highest creative and strategic standard
  • Drive ideation and concept development across earned media, thought leadership, events and brand storytelling
  • Ensure PR activity is seamlessly integrated into wider multidisciplinary campaigns and client scopes
  • Maintain exceptional quality across client deliverables, providing guidance, feedback and quality assurance for other team members as needed

Media & Industry Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, broadcasters, creators and key industry stakeholders
  • Lead proactive media engagement and stay ahead of media trends, industry developments and cultural conversations to identify opportunities for clients and RC globally
  • Continue to grow Redgert’s network of media, industry and talent contacts within the UK market

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Manage large client budgets, forecasting and resource planning across designated accounts
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, insightful and delivered to a consistently high standard, both for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support new business opportunities through proposal development, pitch support and strategic recommendations for prospective clients
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts in collaboration with RC Commercial team
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of RC’s PR offering, processes and ways of working

Team Leadership

  • Support and assist other team members
  • Act as a role model within the business, championing collaboration and RC values
  • Support workload planning and resource management as needed across accounts

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years experience in communications preferably within an agency environment
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex client accounts across multiple sectors
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic PR campaigns that achieve measurable business outcomes
  • Strong experience managing senior client relationships and acting as a trusted communications advisor
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership, providing regular updates on client performance, commercial opportunities and account health
  • Experience leading multi-market or integrated campaigns is preferable
  • Excellent media relationships and a strong understanding of the UK media landscape. Experience and established relationships in additional markets is advantageous
  • Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, forecasting and identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Proven ability to work independently, taking ownership of client relationships and strategic delivery while knowing when to escalate complex or commercially significant matters
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environments
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams, markets and disciplines
