Senior Pricing Analyst
NewAt Harrington Process Solutions, pricing plays an important role in how we grow, compete, and deliver value to our customers. We’re looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst who enjoys digging into data, solving complex problems, and partnering across the business to turn insights into action.
Reporting to the Senior Pricing Manager, this role will help drive profitable growth through strategic pricing analysis, Special Pricing Agreement (SPA) management, and project pricing support. You’ll work closely with Sales, Category Management, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations to strengthen pricing decisions, protect margin, and identify opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Do
Special Pricing Agreement (SPA) Management
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of SPAs, including intake, setup, validation, execution, and ongoing management.
Ensure pricing agreements are accurate, compliant, and aligned with vendor requirements.
Develop and recommend SPA strategies that support profitability, customer retention, and competitive positioning.
Monitor SPA utilization, performance, and recovery rates to identify opportunities and minimize margin leakage.
Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Category Management, and Operations to resolve pricing issues and improve processes.
Manage pricing workflows and ensure agreements are executed accurately and on time.
Pricing Analysis & Project Support
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends in pricing, gross margin, rebates, vendor incentives, and customer performance.
Provide pricing recommendations that balance profitability, customer value, and market competitiveness.
Leverage historical sales, SPA, and project data to help Sales develop effective deal and pricing strategies.
Serve as a pricing resource and subject matter expert for special pricing questions and escalations.
Develop and enhance pricing reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that help leaders make informed decisions.
Monitor pricing performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve margin and competitiveness.
Conduct profitability and variance analysis to measure pricing effectiveness.
Partner cross-functionally to implement pricing strategies, governance standards, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings strong analytical skills but can also see the bigger business picture. You should be comfortable working with data, challenging assumptions, making recommendations, and communicating your findings to everyone from Sales teams to senior leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
Experience directly supporting a Sales organization required; industrial distribution experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of pricing structures, margin, profitability, and pricing methodologies.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand how pricing decisions impact customers, Sales, and overall profitability.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
Collaborative, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
