Build the predictive AI infrastructure behind a global FinTech leader We are hiring for a global financial technology corporation and a recognized leader in cross-border payments and open banking. Technology is the absolute core of the organization’s business. The company continues to invest heavily in its AI capabilities and is currently building a newly formed, elite R&D center in Warsaw, working closely with engineering colleagues across the US and EMEA.

This is a role for someone who wants to design greenfield solutions while staying close to the technical implementation of machine learning models, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms. It is not a position focused only on drawing high-level diagrams. The team is looking for a visionary architect with genuine AI/ML and cloud experience who can build a highly available predictive infrastructure to analyze millions of transactions in real-time for fraud detection and liquidity optimization.

What you will work on You will join a global architecture team responsible for designing and developing a range of highly scalable AI systems and ML pipelines used across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• designing and implementing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures (AWS) for machine learning models;

• developing advanced predictive systems for real-time fraud detection and financial liquidity optimization;

• implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures in highly secure, compliant environments;

• supporting containerized ML environments based on Docker and Kubernetes (EKS);

• building and maintaining underlying infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code);

• optimizing cloud budgets and API costs related to generative models (FinOps);

• troubleshooting complex deployment, integration, and model-serving issues;

• implementing strict security controls, data anonymization, and Zero Trust architectures;

• collaborating directly with C-level executives, Data Scientists, and engineering teams across different regions;

• maintaining architectural documentation and driving internal technical standards.

The scope is balanced between strategic architectural planning and solving complex, hands-on technical issues together with engineering teams.

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, Big Data, or cloud architecture;

• 3+ years of commercial experience specifically in designing architectures for AI/ML systems (MLOps);

• strong hands-on experience with AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a huge plus);

• strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and ML model serving;

• practical experience with Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow);

• experience with modern vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Milvus);

• hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning;

• understanding of real-time data streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka);

• strong communication skills and the ability to defend architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders;

• fluent English (C1/C2) for daily international communication.

• a Senior Cloud Architect who has recently specialized in AI/ML solutions;

• a Lead MLOps Engineer who has designed and built large-scale platforms from scratch;

• a Principal Data Engineer with strong AWS, ML infrastructure, and security knowledge.

Your current job title is less important than the depth of your hands-on architectural experience.

Team and working model

• newly formed elite R&D hub in Warsaw and Cracow

• regular working hours (flexible to accommodate US/EMEA overlaps);

• hybrid model: 2 days per week in a state-of-the-art Warsaw office;

• B2B contract (long-term cooperation).
