Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive manufacturing sector, particularly in Body-in-White (BIW) processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production processes, focusing on MIG and spot welding techniques, GD&T principles, and assembly processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for BIW components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficiency metrics. - Collaborate with design teams using CATIA and AutoCAD to ensure manufacturability of parts and assemblies. - Conduct part proving and validation tests to ensure that all components meet specifications and performance criteria. - Oversee the welding processes, including MIG and spot welding, to ensure high-quality welded assemblies. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary. - Maintain documentation related to process engineering, including process flows, work instructions, and quality control reports. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies to continuously improve processes. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of Body-in-White (BIW) processes and related manufacturing techniques. - Proficiency in MIG welding, spot welding, and GD&T. - Experience with assembly processes and sheet metal stampings. - Familiarity with CAD software, particularly CATIA and AutoCAD. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
