Senior Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing all procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services to support our projects. This role demands strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and a keen understanding of construction procurement processes to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company objectives. - Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. - Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure advantageous terms. - Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand material and service needs. - Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. - Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on procurement activities and spend analysis. - Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process. - Lead and mentor junior procurement staff to enhance team performance and knowledge sharing.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. - Proven ability to manage complex procurement projects and supplier relationships. - Knowledge of local UAE procurement regulations and market dynamics. - Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. - Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
