Senior Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategies for pipeline projects, considering project requirements, specifications, and budget constraints.
• Identify and qualify suppliers of pipeline materials, equipment, and services, conducting supplier evaluations and negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to define procurement needs, including material specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to receipt, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements, conducting regular reviews and addressing any concerns or deviations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
