Source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase goods for direct and indirect materials according to project requirements (RFQ/BOM)
Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives. Research, evaluate potential suppliers and develop newly qualified vendors to maintain a strong and healthy supply base.
Keep abreast of the market/price situation and conduct a regular price comparison.
Generate purchase order and forward to the respective suppliers; facilitate the fulfilment process at all stages from material requisition (MR) till purchase order (PO) closed in the system.
Coordinate with the store to check stock levels as required and place orders as needed
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and receiving the stock.
Liaise and build a good rapport with suppliers and cross-functional team members (relationship management).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or minimum Diploma in Business studies major Purchasing Management / Supply Chain Management/Engineering, preferably with technical background or experience.
Possess at least 2 years’ related experience in façade product manufacturing and/or construction industry.
Fresh graduates and candidates with no related working experience may apply.
Knowledge of SAP experience but not a MUST.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially excel.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications.
