Garud is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to provide FEMA with operational and consulting support across the acquisition lifecycle and helps lead procurement project execution. This role applies deep mission understanding and acquisition expertise to planning, scheduling, and managing procurement activities.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, schedule, and conduct all phases of procurement projects.
  • Provide acquisition support across sourcing, policy, analysis, training, and process improvement.
  • Advise government personnel on procurement approaches and acquisition lifecycle activities.
  • Support program and project functional areas including financial analysis and systems support.
  • Help improve procurement operations through research and strategic recommendations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10–15 years of procurement, acquisition, or related consulting support experience.
  • Broad knowledge of acquisition lifecycle functions and federal procurement environments.
  • Strong mission awareness and ability to work across organizational priorities.
  • Advanced communication, analysis, and planning skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to support multiple functional areas including policy, training, and business process improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of agency mission and organizational interrelationships.
  • Experience with federal statutes, regulations, and acquisition management.
  • Ability to manage complex procurement projects independently.
