Who We Are Looking For
At VML, we create connected brands that drive value for our clients and impact the world. The VML Live team is looking for a Senior Producer to manage events and experiences, acting as a seamless extension of our clients' teams. In this role, you will translate creative ideas into actionable project plans and deliverables, ensuring everything stays within budget and schedule parameters. You are a strong project manager who excels at balancing client requests with desired outcomes, taking full ownership of assignments to ensure deadlines, budgets, and objectives are consistently met.
What You'll Do
- Act as an extension of the client team, providing expert consultation and guidance on projects.
- Deliver multiple, concurrent projects on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding creative expectations.
- Collaborate with account, creative, design, and technical teams to define project requirements, timelines, budgets, and logistical needs.
- Manage day-to-day production, including detailed schedules, project scope, meetings, deliverables review, and risk identification.
- Select, negotiate, and manage outside vendor contracts to best execute the creative vision.
- Partner with creatives to ensure the overall look, feel, and vision are achieved, offering tactical support along the way.
- Serve as a client-facing leader, driving projects forward and proactively communicating any obstacles.
- Maintain active communication across all departments and with clients regarding milestones, deliverables, and due dates.
- Build and manage overall project budgets, provide revenue projections, document change requests, and handle budget reconciliations at project close.
- Manage and mentor junior-level production staff.

What You'll Need
- Proven experience in project management, specifically within event and experience production.
- Strong financial acumen with experience building and managing complex project budgets, revenue projections, and vendor contracts.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly alongside creative, account, and technical teams.
- Exceptional communication and client-facing skills, with a track record of guiding clients through complex productions.
- Experience mentoring, managing, or guiding junior team members.
