About Liquidnitro Games

Liquidnitro Games is a game development company built to create, launch, and scale ambitious games for a global audience.

Founded by industry veterans with deep experience across free-to-play, live services, and large-scale game production agnostic of platforms, we bring together product thinking, design craft, engineering depth, art execution, data, and live operations under one roof.

We build games from the ground up, take new ideas from 0 to 1, and work with select partners to strengthen, scale, and operate high-quality game experiences.

Our teams combine creative ownership with production discipline, helping projects move from early prototypes to validated products, and from launch to long-term growth.

At Liquidnitro, we are building the next generation of game teams, products, and tools from India for the global games industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to help build, launch and scale an ambitious new free-to-play mobile game.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and statistical skills with product thinking, a passion for gaming and the ability to independently drive complex analytical projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands games, is curious about player behavior and can translate complex data into meaningful product decisions.

You will work closely with product managers, game designers, engineers, producers and publishing teams to understand how players experience the game, identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention and monetization, optimize game systems and help shape the product from development through launch and live operations.

We are looking for someone who goes beyond reporting what happened to understanding why it happened, identifying what could change and helping teams measure whether those changes worked.

You should be comfortable working with incomplete data, forming hypotheses, designing experiments and influencing product decisions with clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Player Behavior & Product Analytics: Analyze player journeys, engagement, retention, progression, and monetization to identify friction points, behavioral patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Game Economy & Monetization: Evaluate game mechanics, level difficulty, progression systems, virtual currencies, rewards, in-app purchases, and live events to improve player experience and business outcomes.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Design and evaluate A/B tests, define success and guardrail metrics, apply appropriate statistical methods, and recommend whether to launch, iterate, or discontinue features.
  • Go-To-Market Analytics: Define success metrics for playtests, early access, soft launches, and global launches. Analyze early player behavior, onboarding, retention, progression, and monetization to identify issues, assess launch readiness, and guide product iteration.
  • Metrics & Analytics Infrastructure: Define product KPIs, establish telemetry requirements, validate event instrumentation, and build reusable datasets, dashboards, and analytical frameworks for reliable product monitoring.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, forecasting, and simulation to investigate hypotheses and estimate the potential impact of product changes.
  • Live Operations & Growth: Evaluate events, content updates, promotions, and new features to understand their impact on engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Product Decision Support: Independently lead analytical investigations, identify root causes, challenge assumptions, and translate complex findings into clear recommendations for product and game design teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize analytical opportunities, influence product decisions, and measure the impact of implemented changes.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

· 6+ years of professional experience in data analytics, product analytics or game analytics, preferably within mobile gaming, consumer products or digital entertainment.

· Strong understanding of free-to-play mobile games, player behavior, retention, engagement, progression and monetization.

· Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to independently query, transform and analyze large, complex event-level datasets.

· Hands-on proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, simulation or automation.

· Strong foundation in statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, experimental design and A/B testing.

· Experience with cohort analysis, funnel analysis, segmentation, retention analysis, conversion, monetization and lifetime value.

· Experience building dashboards and analytical reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker or equivalent BI platforms.

· Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis, develop analytical models and interpret findings to support product decisions.

· Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to define tracking plans, validate telemetry and ensure data reliability.

· Demonstrated ability to independently own analytical projects from problem definition through analysis, recommendations and impact measurement.

· Strong analytical storytelling and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to influence game design and product decisions through clear, evidence-based recommendations.

· Strong problem-solving skills, product judgment and the ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches.

· Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities and work closely with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

· Direct experience analyzing a commercially launched free-to-play mobile game.

· Experience with action, survival, shooter, RPG or other progression-heavy game genres.

· Experience analyzing game economies, virtual currency flows, reward systems and progression balance.

· Experience with statistical simulation, predictive modeling, churn prediction, LTV forecasting or advanced player segmentation.

· Familiarity with game analytics platforms such as GameAnalytics, Firebase, Amplitude or equivalent tools.

· Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.

· Experience building reusable data models, analytical datasets and automated reporting pipelines.

· Experience working on games from development through soft launch and global launch.

· Experience supporting live operations, in-game events, offers, personalized player experiences and content optimization.

· Familiarity with AI-assisted analytical workflows and automation tools.

Why Join Liquidnitro?

This is an opportunity to help shape a new game from its early stages, building the analytical foundations that will inform its development, launch and long-term success.

You'll work alongside experienced game creators and product leaders, with the opportunity to influence gameplay systems, progression, economies, engagement and monetization through data.

At Liquidnitro, analytics is not just a reporting function. We believe it should be an integral part of how great games are designed, evaluated and improved.

If you love games, enjoy uncovering the reasons behind player behavior and want your analysis to directly influence what gets built, we'd love to hear from you.
