Senior Product Compliance Specialist
Summary
Oversee product compliance for a furniture retailer, ensuring certifications and regulations are met across markets while building scalable systems and tools to track deadlines and risks.
We’re rethinking homes for how people really live, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Compliance Specialist to join our Global Quality team to help shape the future of living - one thoughtful detail at a time.
Success in this role means reducing regulatory risk and keeping Castlery audit-ready everywhere we sell. You'll make sure every product meets the right certifications, documentation, and deadlines across all our markets, while independently owning compliance from regulation to resolution. Beyond staying on top of the rules, you'll build the systems behind them—frameworks, registers, and AI-enabled tools that let compliance scale as fast as the business does.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor new and changing product regulations across our markets, and flag what's affected before it becomes a deadline crisis.
- Translate regulations into clear, practical requirements for Buying, Quality, Product Development, and our suppliers.
- Own certifications, regulatory reporting, and timber due diligence, from paperwork to lab coordination to final sign-off.
- Build and maintain the SOPs, checklists, and registers that make compliance a system, not a scramble.
- Maintain a live register of licenses, certificates, and deadlines, so nothing expires unnoticed.
- Run compliance training for internal teams and suppliers and lead our response to audits and customs requests.
- Build a compliance database and dashboard, using AI tools to cut manual work and give the business real-time visibility.
What you need to succeed:
- 5+ years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or supplier quality.
- A degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience managing product certifications, regulatory documentation, or due diligence processes.]
- Direct experience working with suppliers, laboratories, certification bodies, or regulators—ideally across multiple markets.
- Experience in furniture, homeware, electrical products, textiles, or consumer goods is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable building or using compliance databases, data analysis, or AI tools to scale a function, not just maintain it.
- Solid project management and stakeholder skills.
