About the Role: We are seeking a visionary but also execution-focused Senior Product Designer specializing in AI-driven Financial Services to shape the future of how people and institutions interact with intelligent financial software.. Working in lockstep with our Product Engineers, you will bridge the gap between complex quantitative data, non-deterministic machine learning models, and intuitive user experiences. You will own the end-to-end design for AI-native financial products, ranging from automated wealth management and predictive risk analytics to generative agentic AI for financial advisors. This role requires a unique blend of deep systems thinking, data visualization expertise, and a strong understanding of financial compliance and user psychology.
Key Responsibilities
Designing Human-AI Interaction & Trust
Pioneer AI Interaction Patterns: Design intuitive workflows for multi-modal AI inputs, proactive agents, financial copilots, and human-in-the-loop validation mechanics.
Establish Trust & Transparency: Create clear UI patterns that explain complex algorithmic logic, provide sources for generative data, and gracefully handle non-deterministic (variable) AI outputs.
Error Mitigation & Recovery: Design guardrails and correction mechanisms that allow users to easily spot, flag, and correct AI hallucinations or data anomalies before they impact financial decisions.
Financial Systems & Data Visualization
Synthesize Complex Data: Transform dense financial datasets, real-time market feeds, and predictive metrics into clean, highly scannable charts and actionable dashboards.
End-to-End Product Ownership: Lead the full product lifecycle from early user discovery, wireframing, and interactive prototyping to high-fidelity UI design and developer handoff.
Cross-Functional Client Collaboration: Confidently lead client engagements, translating complex business goals into engaging experiences, working closely with Product Engineers, Business Stackholders, and Legal/ Compliance teams to align AI capabilities with user needs and regulatory realities.
Strategy, Governance, & Mentorship
Design for Compliance: Seamlessly integrate strict regulatory, data privacy, and security constraints into the user journey without compromising on simplicity.
Advance the Design System: Contribute new, scalable components tailored to AI workflows and data-heavy financial interfaces to our global design system.
Advocacy & Iteration: Coach others, elevate the team's understanding of AI UX, and advocate for human-centered design principles across the organization. Balance long-term vision and ruthless short-term prioritization for rapid iteration. gies and scopes based on client feedback and evolving needs.
What You Bring
Experience: 5+ years of Product Management and Design experience, with a proven track record of shipping complex consumer facing software products.
Client-Facing Expertise: Strong executive presence. You are comfortable running discovery workshops, presenting to external stakeholders, and confidently pushing back when necessary.
AI/ML Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated experience designing for AI-native features, large language models (LLMs), predictive analytics, or automated decision-making engines.
Financial Literacy: Strong foundational knowledge of financial markets, investment concepts, banking workflows, or risk compliance is highly advantageous.
Technical & Design Fluency: You don't need to code, but you must be able to create engaging UX/UI prototypes, spar with engineers, understand architectural trade-offs, and grasp complex business logic.
Engagement Details This position is available immediately as either a temporary 3-month contract (focused on delivering a successful POC by year-end) or as a full-time role.
