SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide technical support and data analysis on product related issues and product improvements (Cost and Yield).
- Handles new transceiver product transfers from NPI to mass volume production lifecycle.
- Prepares product engineering documentation and engineering related changes with related revision change.
- Supports pilot manufacturing line in the assembly, testing and evaluation of new products.
- Collaborate with R&D team and participate in the design, qualification, and implementation of new test processes.
- Develops and maintains systematic debug guide documentation for responsible products.
- Acquires hands-on technical knowledge on products and test methodology as well as applications transferred from R&D.
- Independently complete the new product manufacturing process and inspect technical document output
- Summarize typical scenarios and validation schemes of new product NPI trial-production, and form NPI validation baseline.
- Drives efforts in product re-engineering, cost reduction, yield improvement, quality and reliability improvement.
- Supports and initiates ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, procedures and specification modifications.
- Conducts data analysis and statistics pertaining to product performance and quality improvements.
- Engage customers, sales, and marketing with customer qualification cycle.
- Provides technical support and analysis on product related issues and RMA.
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
- Compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable code etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical, Communications, Mechatronics or Applied Science in Physics
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in product, test or product transfers into Production domain with major in mechanical manufacturing /electronic engineering related or material.
- Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
- Good knowledge in BOM maintenance, statistical quality tools and problem analysis
- Understand basic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to trouble shoot product and test equipment issues and initiatives to drive performance goals.
- Experience on New Product (NPI) qualifications and transfer is an advantage.
- Experience working in PCBA, Semiconductor devices, IC fabrication manufacturing environment and Product Testing
- Work is analysis-driven, not real-time monitoring.

- Production line presence is event-based only(NPI builds, pilot runs, issue debugging — not daily work)
- Documentation tasks need a controlled environment, not a test floor.
- Engineers provide technical guidance — not operate or monitor testers(Operators/technicians are responsible for line operation)
