Senior Product Engineer

· Responsible for a range of automotive parts such as brake pads & rotors, filters, steering systems, mountings & bushings.

· Develop new products, improve and maintain existing product lines.

· Verify drawings, specifications, and vehicle fitment before production.

· Work with the Sales and Purchase teams to determine external customers’ product requirements.

· Support QA, Sales, Production, and Warehouse in resolving product-related issues.

· Maintain a clean vehicle catalog for accurate cross-reference on product-to-vehicle linkage.

· Manage cross-reference data to ensure consistency and reliability.

· Evaluate existing parts/materials for improvements to optimize business opportunities.

· Document the controlled revision of the products throughout its lifecycle.

· Understand safety agency specifications and environmental restrictions and design within these guidelines to meet customers' requirements.

· Continuously build product and technical knowledge and experience across the business.

· Quality Assurance –Inspects inventory pre- and post-production, manages Level 2 Product Issue Management cases, and coordinates corrective actions with suppliers

· Any other reports/duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

· Professional qualifications, Diploma/ Degree in relevant fields or equivalent.

· Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the automotive industry

· In-depth understanding of automotive and industry-specific regulations and standards.

· Experienced in making and reading technical drawings.
