Senior Product Manager, Advanced Trading
Summary
Owns advanced trading products for compliant crypto markets, defining roadmaps, requirements, and features like order tickets, charting, and liquidity models while coordinating cross-functional teams.
You will own advanced trading product lines for compliant markets, from strategy and product requirements through launch and iteration. You will improve trading experiences, benchmark competitors, contribute to liquidity and risk features, translate regulatory requirements into product specifications, and coordinate delivery across engineering, design, quant, risk, operations, business development, and institutional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and delivery for assigned advanced trading product areas
- Write product requirements documents and user stories
- Drive designs through review, UAT, launch, and post-launch iteration
- Define success metrics and improve trading experience, liquidity quality, and risk outcomes
- Benchmark leading centralized exchanges and deconstruct their product mechanisms, fee models, liquidity models, user experience, and launches
- Track TradFi derivatives and compliant-market developments
- Improve speed-to-trade, order tickets, Kline and charting, and active-trader retention features
- Partner with design and engineering to ship trading surfaces
- Contribute to liquidity parameters, fee tier design, and execution-quality tracking
- Support risk framework work covering price limits, funding rates, index and mark price logic, leverage, and position tiers
- Translate regulatory requirements into product specifications
- Partner with engineering, quant, risk, design, operations, business development, and institutional client teams
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- At least 3+ years of experience with crypto trading products
- Solid knowledge of CEX product mechanisms, including perpetuals, futures, options, margin models, funding rates, index and mark prices, liquidation, order types, and market microstructure
- Hands-on experience shipping trading features on web or app at a top-tier CEX or comparable trading platform
- Basic understanding of exchange liquidity economics and risk frameworks
- Strong written product requirements documents, structured thinking, and cross-functional execution
- Fluent English
- Mandarin is a plus
- Direct competitor experience is a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with an onshore compliant market is a nice-to-have
- Traditional brokerage or TradFi exchange experience is a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with smart contracts, token economics, or tokenized RWAs is a nice-to-have
