Senior Product Manager

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Own the core data platform end-to-end: ingestion, pipelines, storage, and the analytics/reporting substrate every other product line builds on.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to turn raw operational and clinical data into a reliable, scalable foundation other SPMs and teams can build on top of.
  • Define and own the metrics that describe platform health and value: data quality, latency, coverage, downstream adoption.
  • Operate with a bias for action in ambiguous, often spec-less territory; a lot of what you build has no customer directly asking for it.
  • Bring structured, analytical thinking to trade-offs between build velocity, data quality, and long-term scalability.
  • Represent downstream consumers (product, DL, QA, CS) internally, building for how the platform will actually be used, not just what's architecturally clean.
  • Drive build decisions with a clear ROI lens: size the cost/impact of a platform investment before committing, and track whether the bet paid off.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in product management, ideally with hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, or analytics engineering before moving into PM.
  • Proven track record of building or owning a significant component of a data platform, pipelines, ingestion, and warehousing; not just consuming one.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to break down complex, multi-variable problems into structured, logical solutions.
  • Deep understanding of prioritization, trade-offs, and stakeholder management in fast-paced environments.
  • Bias for action: moves on incomplete information rather than waiting for a clean spec.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication.

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a company where the data platform was actively being built/scaled, not inherited maturely.
  • Prior background as a data engineer, analyst, or analytics engineer.
  • Experience in AI-driven or data-centric product companies.
  • Exposure to healthcare or other high-stakes/regulated data environments.
