Senior Product Manager
Summary
Senior Product Manager at Avvoka, a legal drafting and contract automation platform, owning multiple product areas: setting strategy, prioritising technically feasible direction, and shipping AI/LLM-backed features through design, engineering, and QA. Based in the Philippines, collaborating across time zones with teams in Manila, London, and Prague.
Our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation, collaboration, and AI - without taking judgment away from the lawyers who own the risk. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it.
Avvoka is trusted by leading law firms, banks, and global enterprises, and we've grown through product strength and word of mouth alone. With headcount and revenue increasing by over 70% year on year, we're scaling from a product-led success into a globally recognised legal-tech brand.
We're building drafting infrastructure for the world's most sophisticated legal teams, and we're looking for product people who can decide what we build next and see it all the way to live.
Responsibilities
Set the direction- Build a view of where legal work itself is heading, and connect it to what we should build - spotting the non-obvious problem behind the requested feature.
- Translate ambiguous business strategy into prioritised, technically feasible product direction that others can follow and reuse.
- Balance short-term revenue pressure against long-term platform value, make the trade-off visible in the decision rather than discovering it afterwards, and defend it to the SLT.
- Run the highest-stakes ships across design, engineering, legal prompt engineering and QA, and see them through to live.
- Fix the root causes of repeated slippage instead of firefighting each instance, working with Engineering on scoping discipline, dependency structure and backlog hygiene.
- Coach other PMs on discovery and judgement, and challenge weakly-evidenced proposals wherever they come from.
- Build the feedback loops the whole product function relies on, so decisions across the team get better and not just yours.
- Trace the line from decision to business result, and know which lever you are actually pulling.
Requirements
You'll own several of Avvoka's product areas and take on the work other people avoid - the cross-team programme, the migration, the release with real client risk. You'll shape strategy beyond your own patch and influence what the company as a whole chooses to build. This is a role with genuine reach: the SLT will expect you to defend trade-offs with evidence, and the product team will look to you for how discovery, delivery and decision-making should be done. In twelve months you should have moved business outcomes the company can point to, and made the PMs around you better at their jobs.
Benefits
- Owned multiple product areas and influenced decisions well beyond them, with strategy work you can point to and explain.
- Deep technical fluency - trusted by engineers, fluent in architecture and constraint trade-offs, and able to shape technically feasible solutions from ambiguous asks.
- Shipped AI or LLM-backed products at a level where you can judge output quality and know where the model is the wrong answer.
- Run genuinely hard delivery - cross-team programmes, migrations, or releases with real client risk - and landed them.
- Made other PMs better: coaching, raising the discovery bar, improving how Product works with Engineering, CS and Sales.
- Clear, direct, low-drama communication across cultures and time zones, working with colleagues in Manila, London and Prague.
