Job Description:
We are seeking a senior, commercially minded Product Manager to define and scale how Cotality’s property intelligence is delivered and monetised across APIs, bulk delivery, and emerging distribution channels. You own the commercial strategy across API and bulk distribution, alongside the strategy, revenue and lifecycle of directly managed data propositions.
You are an ecosystem thinker, commercial driver, and pragmatic builder who brings clarity to ambiguous spaces, operates horizontally across teams, and leads customer conversations with confidence. Known for sound product judgment, systems thinking, and commercial acumen, you are comfortable challenging bespoke requests, making trade-offs and taking ownership of outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Commercial Strategy & Distribution Packaging: Define the commercial strategy and access boundaries across API, bulk data feeds, and emerging channels, establishing consistent packaging, pricing, channel economics, customer entitlement models, and governance guardrails.
- Customer Discovery & Go-to-Market: Lead direct customer discovery alongside Sales and Segment Leads, validating market needs, translating complex data offerings into clear propositions, and supporting key commercial pitches and customer transitions.
- Lifecycle, Transitions & Portfolio Rationalisation: Own roadmap and lifecycle decisions for directly managed propositions, using performance and adoption insights to guide pricing, renewals, investment, standardisation and retirement, while setting migration priorities and customer transition plans, coordinating commercial dependencies, customer communication and business readiness with delivery teams, and protecting revenue and customer continuity.
- Channel Experience & Self-Service Enablement: Champion the customer and developer journey by shaping product catalogues, onboarding pathways, and developer portal requirements to progressively enable self-service evaluation and access.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with Domain Product Managers to align delivery with core propositions, collaborate with Technical Product Managers and Engineering on delivery readiness, and work with Legal, Data Governance, and Operations to streamline approvals and eliminate friction.
Job Qualifications:
What You Will Bring:
Essential:
- 7+ years of Product Management experience with end-to-end ownership of customer-facing B2B data or digital products, from discovery and roadmap through to launch and commercial growth.
- Demonstrated commercial results driving revenue, pricing, packaging, business cases, and portfolio performance, supported by direct customer discovery and sales engagement.
- Strong working knowledge of API and bulk data distribution models, customer access frameworks, and permitted-use/licensing considerations (deep software engineering expertise is not required).
- Proven ability to operate horizontally across multiple product domains, aligning cross-functional teams and driving decisions through influence rather than formal authority.
- Experience overseeing product transitions, customer migrations, or portfolio rationalisation while mitigating commercial and operational risk.
- A decisive, pragmatic approach with comfort making high-judgment calls balancing customer needs, commercial value, and delivery capacity in evolving, ambiguous environments.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in data-rich, property intelligence, or platform-driven B2B ecosystems.
- Experience shaping developer portals, product catalogues, or self-service onboarding pathways for digital and data offerings.
- Familiarity partnering with Technical Product Managers, Data Governance, and enterprise sales teams to simplify complex data estates.
