Senior Product Manager
Summary
Senior Product Manager at DAZN, the live sports streaming company, based in London. You own an outcome area of the fan experience — finding opportunities, defining requirements with Engineering and Design, and using data, A/B tests and AI tools to prove impact — while mentoring other PMs and connecting local customer needs to DAZN's global product strategy.
The role
- Owning an outcome, not just a feature: the discovery, definition and delivery of a wider area of the product, and the KPIs that tell us whether it's working.
- Identifying opportunities before anyone asks from data, customer research, commercial conversations and what's happening in the market and building the case for the ones worth doing.
- Turning goals into clear problems, and problems into requirements, prototypes and success measures your engineers and designers can act on.
- Using data, experiments, A/B tests and customer feedback to decide what to build and to prove what it delivered.
- Understanding the commercial side of your decisions subscribers, revenue, cost and explaining the trade-offs plainly to leadership.
- Keeping the whole customer journey in view, not just your area. A change in one place shows up somewhere else, and the fan only sees one DAZN.
- Working daily with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, Commercial, Legal, Customer Service and Operations, and representing the customer in those conversations.
- Building AI and personalisation into the product you own recommendations, content, journeys where it makes the experience better for the fan.
- Using AI in how you do the job, and showing other PMs how: prototyping before you write a ticket, analysing data, drafting specs and updates, testing assumptions faster. This is expected of every PM here, not a specialist AI role.
- Around 5 years in product management, ideally in streaming, consumer technology, media or e-commerce at scale.
- A track record of owning an area of a product and the outcomes behind it, not just delivering features.
- Experience finding and shaping opportunities yourself you don't need a problem handed to you.
- Comfortable with analytics, A/B testing and customer research you can find your own answers in the data.
- Already using AI tools day to day to prototype, analyse, write and test ideas and able to show us examples.
- Structured thinking and good judgement about priorities when everything looks important..
- Able to build working relationships quickly you'll work with a range of engineering and design teams, and getting the best out of each one is part of the job.
- Customer-focused and commercially minded, with the appetite to take ownership and help others do the same.
- Interest in sport helps, but caring about the customer matters more.
