Senior Product Manager – Extended Workforce Management

Open 54d posting dated last month

We believe in a world where growth thrives across borders and cultures. Our mission is to guide companies on their journey by providing services and technology that enables global talent management and delivers a human experience.

As an Employer-of-Record (EOR) provider, we offer the HR and compliance infrastructure essential for companies to expand internationally. We take care of the complex, behind-the-scenes work, allowing companies to focus on the strategies that drive their success. We are For People, By People.

The future of work is borderless, and so are we. Our people are located around the globe — in the U.S., the UK, India, Colombia, China, and beyond. Diversity and belonging are not just values, they are who we are.

We are also committed to making a positive impact. Through our Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) impact initiative, we are addressing our environmental footprint and promoting social responsibility. Our impact program is central to our vision and culture, focusing on employee wellness, diversity, charitable work, and ethical corporate governance.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next chapter of Workforce Management at Atlas. You’ll own the vision, strategy, and delivery for our AOR (Agency of Record) product that supports contractor classification and payment.

This is a high-impact role. You’ll partner with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and country experts to build products that scale across 160+ countries. You’ll shape how workers join, engage, record time, submit expenses, and eventually offboard, all through a unified Atlas experience.

What You’ll Own

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap for AOR, aligned with Atlas’ global platform strategy.
  • Define clear problem statements, business outcomes, and customer journeys
  • Apply strong prioritization frameworks to balance customer needs, compliance requirements, operational scale, and business impact.
  • Set high-quality and experience standards across contractor classification, billing and payments.

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences.
  • Use modern product and design tools like Figma to collaborate closely with Design and Engineering from discovery through delivery.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate discovery, requirements of authoring, analysis, and delivery of workflows.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design in a fast-moving, iterative delivery model.
  • Drive end-to-end product development: discovery, requirements, specs, acceptance criteria, release planning, enablement, and post-launch measurement.
  • Partner with Ops and Customer Success to ensure smooth adoption and scalable processes.

Data, Insights & Customer Empathy

  • Use qualitative research and quantitative data to validate problems and decisions.
  • Measure success through adoption, cycle time, data accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in every conversation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with deep ownership in Workforce Management, Contractor Pay, or adjacent HRIS/HCM domains.
  • You’ve owned a product from 0→1 and 1→N role. You’ve defined vision and have shipped fast, and scaled systems while navigating compliance.
  • Great understanding and passion for AI, with a proven record of implementing it within your existing products/platforms.
  • Proven success driving complex, multi-stakeholder products in a global or compliance-heavy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using prioritization frameworks to drive roadmap and delivery decisions.
  • Hands-on experience using Figma and modern product and design collaboration tools like Linear.
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve speed, quality, and decision-making in the product development lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of workflow automation, rules of engines, integrations, and data models.
  • A track record of simplifying complex processes into clean product experiences.
  • Strong communicator who can zoom out for strategy and zoom in for detail.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across global time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to marketplace ecosystems, API-driven products, or workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with design systems and AI-assisted product development at scale.
