You will own the strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for products that help local advertisers reach relevant audiences, acquire customers, and grow their businesses.
Your scope will span local business advertising and local services across a range of categories. You will build consumer experiences that connect people with relevant businesses and advertiser tools that turn those connections into measurable results. This role requires practical knowledge of how local businesses attract customers, evaluate advertising performance, and decide where to invest their marketing budgets.
Location: Seattle, WA or Mountain View, CA
Key Responsibilities
Local Advertising Strategy and Monetization
- Own the strategy and roadmap for local ads and local services, prioritizing advertiser segments, service categories, and geographic markets.
- Develop ad formats, pricing, and monetization models that support sustainable revenue growth while delivering value to advertisers and consumers.
Consumer Discovery
- Build experiences that help users discover relevant local businesses, products, and services through sponsored content, business profiles, recommendations, and other advertising formats.
- Improve the path from discovery to action, helping users explore offerings, contact businesses, book services, or make purchases.
Advertiser Outcome Measurement
- Define how local advertisers measure success across objectives, including awareness, engagement, customer inquiries, bookings, purchases, and return on advertising spend.
- Partner with advertisers and measurement teams to connect campaign reporting with online and offline business outcomes. Use those insights to improve advertiser performance and investment decisions.
Advertiser Experience and Growth
- Simplify business onboarding, campaign creation, geographic targeting, budgets, creative setup, and performance reporting for local advertisers.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Account Management to improve activation, repeat spending, and retention across self-service and managed accounts.
AI for Local Advertising
- Identify and launch AI capabilities that improve local discovery, personalize business recommendations, and reduce the effort businesses spend creating and managing campaigns.
- Partner with teams building AI media buying and account management products to adapt shared capabilities to local advertiser needs.
Product Execution and Experimentation
- Use advertiser interviews, consumer research, SQL analysis, and experiments to prioritize opportunities and evaluate revenue, advertiser retention, campaign performance, and consumer experience.
- Lead delivery with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and advertiser-facing teams. Set clear outcomes, make trade-offs, and own products from discovery through launch and iteration.
Qualifications

- Experience working directly with local business owners, service providers, or advertisers to uncover needs and validate solutions.
- Ability to independently lead an ambiguous product area, set priorities, and deliver with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Sales, and other partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in local service categories such as home improvement, health and wellness, or professional services.
