About Manifest Commerce
At Manifest, we are taking a new approach to advertising: building a product intelligence engine for ads. Our system generates product-level ads across a retailer's entire catalog. It identifies the products with the highest potential and hyper-targets them to exactly the right audience. We do this at scale and automatically across a retailer's entire catalog. We want our ads to be so good that people discover interesting products through them.
Manifest Commerce is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rakuten Marketing USA -- the global ad tech division of one of the largest E-Commerce companies in the world.
About You
You have spectacular communication skills, a strong analytical DNA, and a spidey sense for user experience. We value boldness, accountability, and geniuneness. We want you to take risks, make mistakes, acknowledge them, learn from them, and then keep going.
You are a natural leader. You obsess about user experience and details more than anyone else you know. You’re always extremely prepared for everything you do. People love talking to you because you listen carefully and always try to find a solution to our problems even if the solution isn’t software.
Above all, you are humble. You give the team credit for wins and take responsibility for misses. When you make a mistake, you identify the root cause behind that mistake, and you study that area of failure so deeply that everyone later considers you a leader in that space.
This role does will not initially have any direct reports, but this is potentially a management opportunity for the right candidate. We expect our product organization to grow significantly, ideally around you. You are not only comfortable with this, but motivated by the opportunity.
