Senior Product Manager

Job Description Summary

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the product development, lifecycle management, commercialization, and financial performance of the company's Enterprise Network Product portfolio. This includes Managed SASE, Internet Access, IP Transit, SD-WAN, MPLS VPN, Cloud Connectivity, Data Center Interconnection (DCI), and other managed enterprise networking solutions.

The role is accountable for identifying market opportunities, developing competitive products, managing the product roadmap, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Duties

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive assessments to identify new business opportunities.

• Develop business cases and investment proposals for new products and strategic initiatives.

• Manage the network product portfolio (Managed SASE, Internet Access, IP Transit, SD-WAN, MPLS VPN, Cloud Connectivity, Data Center Interconnection (DCI), and other managed enterprise networking solutions) throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Drive product rationalization, enhancement, and retirement activities when necessary.

• Ensure product portfolio alignment with corporate strategy and revenue growth objectives.

Product Development & Innovation

• Lead the development and launch of new network products and services

• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Security, and IT teams to design and implement new products.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

• Manage proof-of-concept (PoC), trials, and pilot programs.

Commercial Management

• Own product P&L performance and achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.

• Develop pricing strategies, product costing models, and commercial terms.

• Support deal governance and approval processes for strategic opportunities.

• Analyze product performance and recommend actions to improve profitability.

• Develop forecasts and business plans for assigned products.

Sales & Go-to-Market Enablement

• Develop product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.

• Support sales teams with solution design, competitive analysis, and customer presentations.

• Conduct regular sales enablement activities, including Product training / Solution workshops / Sales playbooks /Product collateral updates

Service Lifecycle & Customer Experience Management

• Monitor product performance, customer adoption, service quality, and market competitiveness.

• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

• Work with Operations and Service Management teams to address service performance issues.

• Collect customer feedback and translate insights into product enhancements.

• Ensure products meet customer requirements and service-level commitments.

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science or related disciplines

• At least 8 years' experience in telecommunication, networking, cloud or managed services industry, preferably in MNC or system integration company, with 5 years' solid experience in product development, product management or business development

• Proven experience managing enterprise network products such as Managed SASE, Internet access, IP Transit, SD-WAN, MPLS VPN, Cloud connectivity, DC Interconnection or other managed enterprise networking solutions

• Experience managing product P&L and business performance

• Experience working with enterprise customers, financial institutions, cloud services providers and MNC is highly desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties at all levels

• Good presentation and organizing skills

• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
