Senior Product Manager

Summary

Leads the product roadmap for a fashion-focused search engine used by millions, defining metrics and features to improve user experience and business growth.

Here you will work with a highly talented and fast-moving team to focus on improving all aspects of search: relevance, sort, recommendations, etc. Search is what we do, and optimizing search is the key to our future success. You will work closely with our data science team to help define product strategy. You must be self-directed, deeply curious, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.

In this role you will:

  • Understand and lead the analysis of the competitive environment, customers, and product metrics to determine the right feature set to drive retention and monetization.

Lead ideation, development, launch, and iteration of approaches to improve search for our web application (across desktop, tablet, and mobile web).

Define hypotheses for new features, measuring success against clearly defined goals and metrics.

Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests.

Work with a data scientist to develop new search algorithms and methods for optimizing the value to end-users and improve customer retention.

Collaborate with design and engineering to drive the product development process.

Integrate quantitative analysis and user feedback into product decisions.

Help to shape and maintain the product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years product management experience.

Experience in the ecommerce or fashion space.

Data driven and knowledgable in AB testing, multi-variate testing, and statistical analysis.

Proven track record with planning, scoping, releasing, and maintaining the lifecycle of a product.

Functional understanding of software development, including REST-based API platforms and single-page web applications.

Incredibly effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Proactive, entrepreneurial, and a self-starter.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Lucene and SOLR search platforms.
