Senior Product Manager

The Daily Beast (TDB) is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help build the lightweight Publishing Tool Kit.
As a member of our product team, you’ll lead working groups for our key initiatives alongside engineering, design and stakeholders from the newsroom and business teams.
You need to be confident working on a lean, nimble team, growing a product from MVP to maturity at a fast clip. Your success will be measured by your ability to create products that delight our 20M users, drive value for our fast-paced business, and help showcase the award-winning stories produced by our newsroom.
While working on this team you’ll:
Help set product strategy, prioritize features and develop and ship high-quality products in coordination with stakeholders, lead designer and engineers.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, newsroom and technology teams to clarify and prioritize their needs and user needs.
Work closely with the in-house analytics team to define KPIs that keep decisions data-informed and tied to our strategic objectives.
Consistently and clearly communicate product priorities, project status and impact to stakeholders.
What you bring to us
Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
Strong time management skills, allowing for comfort with context-shifting between multiple projects that need to move forward at the same time.
Passionate about the media ecosystem and the evolution of storytelling on the web and the revenue model that can support it. Prior experience working on a digital-first product with a wide range of revenue streams is a plus.
Comfort using data, competitive research and internal feedback to build business cases for upcoming products in the roadmap. Prior experience with Google Analytics and Google Optimize, a plus.
3-5 years experience working as a hands-on product manager with a team of in-house engineers.
