Senior Product Manager – Trading UX/UI

Join Initiativ as Senior Product Manager - Trading UX/UI and help redefine what modern trading looks like for commodities markets.

You will own the front-end experience for a regulated-grade exchange built on digital settlement rails, working closely with the Product Lead who owns financial engineering and infrastructure. Your work will shape how institutional traders interact with the platform and will have a direct impact on the clarity, efficiency, and usability of the product.

This role is a strong fit for a hands-on product leader who combines ownership, structure, and curiosity about market infrastructure. You will turn complex market and technical requirements into intuitive user journeys while helping the company scale a platform designed to change how professionals trade.

Based in Paris 9e, you will contribute to a fast-growing fintech with a long-term ambition and substantial room for impact as the business grows.

• Own the front-end product experience for the trading platform, with a strong focus on UX/UI quality and user journey clarity.

• Translate market model features and technical requirements into clear product logic and scalable interface patterns.

• Apply first-principles thinking and fintech best practices to reduce friction across the user experience.

• Work closely with the Product Lead on the interface layer while aligning with financial engineering and infrastructure constraints.

• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and the clearing partner to ensure product work fits within regulatory requirements.

• Partner with Sales to move features from ideation through to production.

• Identify inefficiencies in internal processes and help restructure workflows for scale and performance.

• Contribute to the broader product vision by helping shape how institutional traders use the platform.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in product management.

• At least 2 years of experience on institutional products at an exchange, MTF, broker, bank, trading platform, or fintech.

• Proven experience designing front-end UX/UI for complex products.

• Strong process organisation skills with the ability to build, optimise, and run structured workflows.

• Excellent ownership mindset, thoroughness, and attention to detail.

• Proficient English.

• Curiosity about market infrastructure and strong follow-through in a fast-moving environment.
