Senior Product Marketing Manager

This is a remote senior-level opportunity focused on shaping the market success of a portfolio of literacy and education solutions.
You will own product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, launches, and customer communications across key initiatives.
The role serves as a strategic connector between Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and senior leadership.
You will translate complex product capabilities and market insights into compelling customer value and actionable commercial strategies.
The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from developing messaging frameworks to enabling customer-facing teams.
You will also influence major initiatives such as product transitions, pricing programs, portfolio changes, and new product launches.

Accountabilities
- Own product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and differentiation across assigned products and solution areas, ensuring consistency across internal and external communications.
- Partner with Product Management to translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits and compelling market differentiation.
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products, enhancements, pricing initiatives, portfolio transitions, and strategic programs.
- Develop launch plans, communication strategies, enablement materials, and supporting resources while coordinating execution across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Lead messaging and communication strategies for major business initiatives, tailoring communications to different customer and stakeholder audiences.
- Develop sales enablement resources including presentations, battlecards, FAQs, competitive comparisons, talk tracks, and training materials.
- Partner with sales leadership and customer-facing teams to strengthen field readiness, adoption, and messaging effectiveness.
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and win/loss reviews to identify market opportunities, risks, and customer needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, translating insights into recommendations for product, marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
- Create and manage product collateral, website content, case studies, customer stories, partner materials, and other marketing assets.
- Collaborate with demand generation, field marketing, and digital teams to ensure consistent product messaging across campaigns and programs.
- Track the performance of product marketing initiatives, launches, messaging, and enablement efforts, using data and analytics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and influence stakeholders without direct authority, helping drive strategic initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Education, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not required.
- 8–10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, marketing strategy, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and successfully bringing products, programs, or services to market.
- Proven expertise in product positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and strategic marketing.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across teams without direct reporting authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use customer, market, and business data to inform decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, project management, and delivery across multiple priorities.
- Experience working in K–12 education, educational publishing, or education technology is required; experience in literacy education is a strong plus.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Base salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, with the final offer determined by qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and market conditions.
- Additional compensation: Eligibility for an annual bonus or commission.
