Senior Product Onboarding Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Product Onboarding Specialist to lead the end-to-end onboarding of major and complex merchants across both card-present and card-not-present payment solutions.

Acting as the primary point of contact following commercial sign-off, you will coordinate the onboarding journey from implementation through to go-live, ensuring a seamless customer experience and successful delivery outcomes.

Our client is a leading Australian financial services organisation with a strong presence in transaction banking and merchant services. They are committed to delivering market-leading payment solutions and exceptional customer experiences through innovation, collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple merchant onboarding and implementation projects concurrently from initiation through to go-live.
  • Develop and execute onboarding plans, ensuring alignment of technical, operational and commercial requirements.
  • Act as the primary relationship lead during onboarding, providing proactive communication and issue management.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations and Technical SMEs to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.

A Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following

  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, tokenisation and eCommerce payment gateway environments will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in merchant onboarding, payments implementation or transaction banking environments.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of payment gateways, integration workflows and acquiring systems.
