Mobility Infrastructure is a team which defines/develops cloud infrastructure that enables Woven City’s service to the outside of Woven City. This team defines the entire architecture by grasping current As-Is architecture and re-architect to fit providing stable service.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an experienced Business Development/Product Manager to join the Woven City Mobility Infrastructure team.
This role sits at the center of our efforts to provide cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities to various Woven City products. We are looking for a modern-day mercenary — an experienced consultant who can drive our teams and offerings to the next stage, supporting an expanding range of business use cases including Product Launches to Woven City, Invention Partnerships, Now Platform Solution and Product Planning, and Go-To-Market initiatives with various Mobility Products.
This is a highly challenging position that involves onboarding complex, multi-disciplinary projects and continuously driving their evolution. The role supports an expanding portfolio of capabilities and services for Woven City, working across 4+ sub-teams and supporting 10+ product teams, as well as security, governance, and various assessment teams — with these numbers expected to grow in the coming year.
In addition, you will address technical debt within Woven City's cloud infrastructure and implement KAIZENs to ensure application portability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify Common Use Cases: Grasp the commonalities among various Woven City products and collaborate with business teams to define the core requirements for "Beyond City" use cases
- ROI-Driven Infrastructure Planning: Plan and strategize cloud infrastructure roadmaps by balancing technical feasibility, scalability, and ROI (Return on Investment)
- Bridge Business and Tech: Act as a central hub between business stakeholders and technical teams. Consolidate infrastructure requirements while engaging in deep technical discussions with Tech Leads and Architects
- Drive Alignment: Negotiate with multiple product and engineering teams to align on shared technical requirements and ensure smooth operations and service delivery outside of Woven City
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or technical planning within Cloud Platform services, SaaS, or infrastructure environments
- Strong ability to bridge the gap between business and technology. Capable of engaging in deep technical discussions with
- Tech Leads and Architects while aligning with business stakeholders on ROI and strategic requirements
- Proven track record of defining product/platform requirements from scratch, translating high-level business visions into actionable technical roadmaps, and prioritizing features based on value and ROI
- A natural collaborator with a strong win-win mindset who can facilitate productive alignment, resolve conflicting requirements, and manage diverse stakeholders across different departments
- Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical or business concepts and tailor the narrative effectively for different audiences (from executives to engineers)
- Proficiency in business-level English
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience in conducting user needs assessments or data-driven analysis to identify technical commonalities and standard requirements across multiple diverse products
- Demonstrated professional experience in large-scale program management, ideally in digital transformation, IoT, Smart-city, Big Data platforms, or AI-based platforms
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a strong sense of urgency and personal drive to effectively execute complex initiatives
- Patience and adaptability in dealing with cross-cultural environments and complex corporate decision-making mechanisms
- Proficiency in business-level Japanese (to facilitate smooth collaboration with local stakeholders and engineering teams)
