Requirements:
  • We are looking for an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager with a proven track record in overseeing the strategic direction, adoption, and value realisation of a business-critical digital solution, ideally CRM, in a large, diverse organisation.
  • We need excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across a complex, devolved organisation and influence senior decision-making.
  • We need a strategic mindset with experience of owning and prioritising product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing limited resources, risks, and competing demands to maximise organisational value.
  • We need a strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies, continuous service improvement, and product management practices.
  • We need a data-driven approach, using data and insights to inform decision-making, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
  • We need a proactive and collaborative leader, able to work effectively with stakeholders and technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities:
  • We lead the development, performance, and continuous improvement of our CRM platform, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • We maximise the value delivered through the platform and associated products by determining product priorities, directing the platform roadmap, establishing product standards, and ensuring effective adoption of the platform as a core institutional service across the University.
  • We work closely with the CRM Director, the platforms technical leadership, Product Owners for the products developed on the CRM platform, and stakeholder groups.
  • We support the successful delivery of CRM-enabled services across divisions and colleges.
  • We ensure that our CRM delivers measurable organisational benefits aligned to University-wide priorities.

Our CRM team is based at Dartington House in Oxford, and this is a senior fixed-term role until 31 July 2029.
