Senior Product Owner (f/m/x)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to join a transformational insurance project focused on implementing a new core system for claims management. As part of a strategic long-term initiative, you will be involved not only in the system replacement but also in changes across multiple integrated systems. Your tasks
Defining and executing the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives
Managing the product backlog and prioritizing based on business value
Making product decisions and managing trade-offs between time, cost, scope, and quality
Leading discovery processes and developing the product based on user needs and data
Managing stakeholders and influencing the direction of product development
Monitoring implementation and optimizing the business value of delivered solutions
Defining and analyzing product metrics such as KPI, OKR, and NPS
Collaborating with IT teams and considering technological constraints
Managing change and resolving conflicts between business and IT
Taking responsibility for the end-to-end success of product implementations
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner with at least 3 commercial product implementations, including one in the insurance industry
Ability to create and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
Experience in managing product backlog, prioritization based on business value, and defining user stories
Strong knowledge of Scrum and practical collaboration with agile teams
Stakeholder management skills, including expectation management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Experience in making product decisions under uncertainty and managing trade-offs between scope, time, cost, and quality
Familiarity with discovery processes, user needs analysis, and conducting product workshops
Ability to define and monitor product metrics (KPI, OKR, NPS, ROI, TTM)
Good understanding of technologies, particularly systems, APIs, and integrations, to assess the impact of technological decisions on product development
Practical knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro
Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent)
Fluent Polish
Advanced level of English
Nice-to-have requirements
Collaboration with UX and understanding of design processes
Basic SQL/logs knowledge
Facilitation skills for workshops (story mapping, event storming)
Familiarity with GA4 or similar tools
Inspiring the team to adopt A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion optimization
Advanced Agile/Scaling certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS)
