Purpose Statement

We are seeking a Senior Product QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing products. This is not a role for someone who simply tests features; we are looking for an engineer who thinks in systems, owns the quality strategy end-to-end, and actively influences engineering decisions. This role exists to drive quality standards across the entire software development lifecycle, proactively identify risks, and implement robust testing frameworks that enhance product excellence, resilience, and customer trust.

At CredPal, we build complex financial and platform systems spanning credit, wallets, cards, investments, cross-border payments, and internal operational tools. We operate distributed systems where financial correctness, system reliability, and release confidence are mission-critical. The Senior QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of accuracy, performance, and stability at scale.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end QA activities for web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
Drive test automation strategy and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams during sprints and releases.
Identify, document, and track defects; conduct root cause analysis.
Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and promote best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years QA experience (preferably in fintech, SaaS, or transactional systems)
Strong experience testing APIs and distributed systems
Advanced SQL skills for reconciliation and data validation
Hands-on experience building automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, etc.)
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
Proven ability to lead quality initiatives across teams

Bonus: Experience with performance testing, ledger systems, financial calculations, compliance environments, or message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
