Senior Product Specialist for Peripheral Interventions at Boston Scientific Asia Pacific, driving sales of medical devices to clinicians and hospitals while providing technical support in operating rooms.
We are seeking a Senior Product Specialist for our Peripheral Interventions (PI) business. He/she needs to good sales skills as well as clinical aptitude to be able to support clinicians and cases. In PI, we have built a strong portfolio of products to serve our customers and are uniquely positioned to provide physicians and hospital systems with a full toolbox of solutions to treat patients.
Your responsibilities will Include:
- Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
- Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
- Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
- With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
- Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs
- Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
- Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools
Key Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Biomedical, Science, Nursing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, in the healthcare sector
- Ability to engage with Clinicians and a myriad of stakeholders
- Good communication skills
- Experience in attending cases and provide support in operating room.
