Job Purpose
The Production Interface Engineer, Module Engineering, is responsible for coordinating with Production, Module Engineering, and Industrial Engineering teams to support module performance in achieving target cycle time, turns, and moves. The role also supports daily operational issue resolution, work procedure management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate with Production, Module Engineering, and Industrial Engineering teams to achieve module target turns and moves.
- Support resolution of day-to-day operational issues in the module.
- Plan, organize, define, and sustain effective methods for Production WIP management.
- Validate new and existing work procedures with Module Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Trainers to meet productivity, quality, and service requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement projects and identify shopfloor opportunities to improve production performance indicators.
- Support and sustain Lean practices across production management systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing team management.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
