Senior Production Manager | Global Manufacturing MNC | Up to S$16K #HYN

Salary: up to S$16,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end production operations for a regulated manufacturing environment.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, reliably and in line with production schedules, while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and cost effectiveness.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing and R&D to drive operational excellence and support business and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring production schedules and customer demand are met.

  • Oversee production supervisors and manufacturing teams, providing strong leadership, coaching and performance management.

  • Troubleshoot production, equipment, process and quality issues, using root-cause analysis to implement effective and sustainable corrective actions.

  • Act as a key escalation point for technical and operational challenges across mechanical, electrical and manufacturing processes.

  • Develop and implement production schedules, priorities and resource allocation across product lines.

  • Establish and maintain SOPs, work practices and quality standards for new and existing products.

  • Manage departmental budgets, capacity planning and resource requirements, including budgets of up to S$2 million.

  • Drive productivity, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives through improved utilisation of labour, equipment and manufacturing processes.

  • Support new product introductions, production transfers, process changes and end-of-life/obsolescence planning.

  • Partner with other manufacturing sites on strategic production initiatives and operational transfers.

  • Recommend and implement capital equipment and process improvements to enhance productivity and manufacturing capability.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety and regulatory requirements, including the handling, use and storage of hazardous materials and controlled substances.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, quality improvement and process optimisation.

  • Provide clear operational direction and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

  • At least 10 years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment.

  • 8–10 years of supervisory or people management experience, with proven experience leading production teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience in production equipment, process troubleshooting and quality issue resolution.

  • Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions across mechanical, electrical and process systems.

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/manufacturing management systems.

  • Knowledge of chemical, instrumentation, facility or other complex manufacturing processes and related equipment.

  • Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.

  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be an advantage.

  • Experience working within ISO 13485 and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other manufacturing-related software.
