Senior Program Analyst
Summary
The Senior Program Analyst provides strategic planning, project management, and business process analysis for IT operations within the GSA IT office. The role involves evaluating program effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advocating for IT policies.
As a Senior Program Analyst, you will provide analysis and evaluation across capital and strategic planning, project management, business processes, and IT operations. Location of position: The GSA IT, Office of Digital Management We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
A a Senior Program Analyst you will perform the following duties: Applies a wide range of qualitative, and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness of complex management processes, projects and systems. Identifies and analyzes issues, problems, and challenges relating to efficiency and effectiveness facing IT programs. Serves as advocate for IT programs; presents, supports and defends IT policies, guidelines, methodologies and procedures. Conducts expert evaluative analyses and manages program efforts aimed at ensuring effective program performance and compliance with federal regulations. Researches sensitive, complex or controversial issues in assigned program areas, utilizing all resources available.
