Position Summary:

The Senior Program Coordinator position provides advanced support to the Department of Occupational Therapy, program chair, program faculty, and the Clinical Education team. This includes support within all pathways of the EOTD program. This position works independently to manage clinical onboarding duties for fieldwork experiences. This position collaborates with the Director of Clinical Education to facilitate student clinical education placements for these rotations and manages and tracks evaluations accordingly. In addition, this role provides faculty and administrative chair support.

Essential Functions:

50% - Provides support to the OT Clinical Education team and processes. Support clinical education experience placement processes, verifies, and confirms clinical education placements, manages onboarding process and specific site requirements, and manages evaluation materials. Position manages site communication and database accuracy. This position also supports accreditation data collection requirements related to assigned clinical experiences and other duties as assigned.

50% - Chair and Faculty Support: Provide advanced administrative OT chair support to include faculty database updates, coordination of accreditation data collection, assists in planning student officer meetings, and supports search committees and other duties as assigned. The senior program coordinator oversees pCard processes, documents faculty expenses, supports faculty grants, faculty-specific curricular support, and manages the annual faculty development fund spending with approval from the OT Program Director/Chair. This position provides high-level support and essential planning to the OT Social Committee, plans for events such as the OT Program Graduation Reception, and can support other EOTD program needs as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years administrative and/or office management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments required.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
