Role Summary

5C is building its Program Management Office as the company scales rapidly across data center construction, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be a founding member of this function, partnering across engineering, operations, and business teams to lead complex, cross organizational programs.

This is a hands on, build from the ground up opportunity. You will help design the lightweight process and governance that let 5C move at the pace of a fast-growing company, while increasing velocity, driving accountability, and ensuring transparency across the organization. You will be a partner in building the PMO itself, not just executing inside one that already exists.

What You Will Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs spanning software platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data center operations.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to align on scope, milestones, and success metrics for each program.
• Co-design and launch lightweight program cadences - planning, status reviews, and retrospectives - built to match the pace of a fast-growing company rather than slow it down.
• Identify risks and cross-team dependencies early, driving them to resolution rather than simply escalating.
• Build simple, high signal reporting that gives leadership visibility into program health without adding unnecessary overhead.
• Act as a thought partner to leadership on which processes are worth institutionalizing now versus deferring as the company scales.
• Drive accountability by clarifying ownership, decision rights, and milestones across teams that do not normally coordinate directly.
• Continuously right-size process as the company scales - keeping what earns its place and retiring what doesn't.

What You Bring

• 10+ years in program/project management, management consulting, or business operations, including leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven experience building or scaling a program management function, not just operating within an established one.
• Skilled at creating structure in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, with a bias toward pragmatic action over process for its own sake.
• Strong executive communication skills - able to translate complex, multi-workstream programs into clear, concise updates for senior leadership.
• Demonstrated success partnering across engineering, operations, finance, or other functions without formal authority over those teams.
• Generalist mindset, with experience leading programs across varied domains rather than a single technical specialty.
