Senior Program Manager

Program Managers oversee the various projects a business implements to ensure they all align effectively with the Conduent’s mission and the program’s goals. Program Managers will then monitor the progress of several projects within their program to make sure they follow this direction and exceed these goals. They will also direct the activities of all project support staff, project contractors, and sub-contractors and will be responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion on time and within budget of the program.

This position will be under the general direction of the Managing Director. Responsibilities include the implementation, deployment, and finance control and reporting of programs associated with Conduent CAD/AVL systems. These are not limited to the control of expenses, contractors and employees of Conduent who will be supporting such programs.

Responsible for building a budget for the program and must ensure all projects stay within this budget. Each project will be evaluated quarterly through the use of our EAC’s. This will be established with Finance and will be a review of the status of the project compared to forecast and budget projections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for overseeing the development of programs that support TMS’s main objectives. Some of your primary duties include:

• Organizing engineers’ daily activities based on the goals of the program
• Adapt and execute contractual compliance
• Seek continued improvement and change orders for non-contract requirements
• Devising new programs that support the organization’s objectives
• Develop and design with other departments, budgets, project plans and compliance matrices
• Evaluating, assessing compliance with the signed contract
• Managing engineers assigned to the program
• Management of third-party contracts and contractors
• Installation oversight
• TMS single voice representative to the stakeholders
• Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
• Working with the marketing team to improve strategies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Training Requirements:

Seeking an applicant with the following education or work skills including:

• History working with CAD/AVL systems
• History working with the installation of CAD/AVL systems, both fixed end, Radio implementation and vehicle installations and check-outs
• Ability to guide others in the maintenance and troubleshooting of CAD/AVL systems
• Some college preferred but will trade for 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CAD/AVL systems
