Role Description

ICEYE US is looking for a confident leader who can lead cross-functional teams to execute complex aerospace, defense or commercial statements of work; managing cost, schedule, technical performance and risk management.

This role involves significant collaboration with engineering, sales and customer delivery teams through all aspects of the program lifecycle management (planning, execution, monitoring, closure).

Through that collaboration, this role is responsible for consistent management of contractual obligations, including goals for the overall profitability and performance of assigned programs.

Maintaining and creating a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers is a key skill for an ICEYE US program manager.

This individual should have program management experience with a proven ability to establish program baselines and execute to contractual requirements, while exceeding customer expectations.

  • Responsibilities

    • Manage contract requirements, integrate master schedules and delivery milestones

    • Identify, delegate, track, and complete program requirements while measuring and reporting program performance

    • Identify, mitigate and resolve integration risks across teams, suppliers and partners

    • Interface with engineering, product, and operations teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives

    • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet program objectives

    • Ensure compliance with all internal and customer-mandated processes, policies, and relevant industry standards

    • Build and maintain communication plans with internal teams, external suppliers and customers

    • Participate in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions

    • Establish and maintain rapport with customers to identify and mature new growth opportunities

    • Ability to travel within the United States (25%-40%) and occasionally abroad

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years of related program management experience in the aerospace or defense industries

    • Demonstrated track record of hands-on program management with Defense, National Security and Civilian Agencies

    • Experience as a program manager or deputy program manager, demonstrating relevant success leading teams to achieve mission success

    • Proficient with project management toolsets and supporting software including Jira and Microsoft Project

    • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage a project team daily and communicate effectively with both customers and company stakeholders

    • The ability to initiate, develop, integrate, execute, direct and control program plans and cost and schedule baselines that meet both program contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations

    • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Program Management Professional, Certification

    • Direct experience with U.S. Government acquisition processes (i.e. FAR) and contract management

    • Experience with remote sensing programs and/or products

    • Experience working in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment

Pay Range and Compensation Package

· The estimated base salary range for this role is $170k - $200k depending on experience

Physical Requirements

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and frequent walking. Daily use of a computer, phone, office equipment and other computing and digital devices is required. Some travel may be necessary – the ability to travel by car, plane, train, bus, vessel, or metro, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s License and/or effectively navigate public transportation is required.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must be able to read and respond to inter-office communications as well as effectively participate in meetings. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands or fingers, to lift up to 50 lbs., pull, push, carry, handle, or feel. The employee is required to carry, handle items, reach with arms and hands, to stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk, or hear. Mental demands may require prolonged concentration, reading comprehension, understanding and interpretation of concepts, ideas, and philosophies.
