Senior Program Manager (M&A Integration)

Open 40d posting dated 4 days ago

Summary

Senior Program Manager leads strategic initiatives to streamline real estate brokerage operations, coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and drive platform adoption using data and AI.

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and solutions-driven Senior Program Manager to join the Brokerage Operations team. In this role, you will be the operational backbone for our key strategic initiatives, acting as the bridge between Brokerage Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Onboarding, and Learning & Development.

You will own the Operational roadmap, identifying high-value opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce operating costs, and enhance the experience for our agents and staff. You will not just manage projects; you will drive the strategy behind how we scale our operations efficiently using technology and data.

This position is hybrid (requirement to work out of your local hub office location 2x per month)

What You Will Do

Roadmap Strategy & Execution

  • Own the Operations Roadmap: Lead the end-to-end execution of the Brokerage Operations product and program roadmap. You will ensure all initiatives align with Company OKRs, specifically regarding process excellence and platform adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate across Legal, Finance, Growth, and Regional Leadership to ensure operational programs are compliant, scalable, and consistent.
  • Product & Engineering Liaison: Translate complex brokerage business needs into clear technical requirements for Product and Engineering teams. You will ensure that what is built solves actual business problems and drives efficiency.

Operational Efficiency & AI Innovation

  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks in brokerage workflows and define product features or process changes to remove them.
  • AI & Automation: Leverage an "AI-first" mindset to find opportunities where automation can reduce manual work for staff and agents.
  • ROI Measurement: Define and track KPIs for every program (e.g., cost avoidance, time savings, adoption rates). You will use data to prove the value of your initiatives.

Change Management & Implementation

  • Drive Adoption: Partner with the Learning & Development team to ensure that new tools and processes land successfully. You will help design the rollout strategy to ensure high adoption and minimal disruption.
  • Feedback Loops: Establish mechanisms to "Learn from Reality" (CEP), gathering feedback from the field to iterate and improve our programs continuously.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 7+ years of program management experience, specifically within operations, real estate, or a tech-enabled service environment.
  • Strategic Operator: You can see the big picture (strategy) but also love getting into the weeds to fix broken processes (execution).
  • Data-Driven: You rely on data, not just intuition, to make recommendations. You can build a business case for why a project should be prioritized.
  • Collaborative Leader: You know how to influence without authority, driving progress across teams that don't report to you.
  • Adaptable: You embody "Bounce back with passion." You can handle shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation:

The expected base pay for this position is $165,000 - $185,000 annually. This range reflects our good-faith estimate of what we intend to offer for this role at the time of posting. Final offers within this range will depend on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation elements, such as bonuses, commissions, or equity grants, may be available, along with a full benefits program. We remain committed to fair pay practices and compliance with all wage transparency requirements.

Perks that You Need to Know About:

Participation in our incentive programs (which may include eligible cash, equity, or commissions). Plus paid vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave, and recharge leave; medical, tele-health, dental and vision benefits; 401(k) plan; flexible spending accounts (FSAs); commuter program; life and disability insurance; Maven (a support system for new parents); Carrot (fertility benefits); UrbanSitter (caregiver referral network); Employee Assistance Program; and pet insurance.
