Role Summary
The Programme Manager will serve as an impact-oriented leader responsible for driving significant components of our state-level education initiatives. In this role, you will lead high-performing teams, manage relationships with senior government officials, oversee the instructional design and delivery of blended training programs, and ensure high-quality execution across multiple project verticals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and sustain strong, trusted relationships with government officials, state leaders, and key education stakeholders in Madhya Pradesh.
- Represent the organization in high-level strategic meetings, government reviews, and education reform conferences.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with external institutions and technical experts to support program execution.
2. Training Content Design & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of high-quality training content for teachers, school leaders, and education officials.
- Oversee the instructional design of blended learning tools, including interactive digital learning resources.
- Establish quality standards for content design and implement evaluation frameworks to measure the real-world impact of training interventions.
- Identify, curate, and maintain a robust repository of professional development resources.
3. Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive, supportive, and innovative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations, deliver regular coaching, and actively support the professional growth of team members.
- Allocate tasks efficiently and build shared accountability across project streams.
4. Policy Shaping & Thought Leadership
- Engage with state government authorities to provide data-backed insights that support broader education policy reforms.
- Stay current on national and international trends, methodologies, and best practices in education system design.
- Represent the project's learning and research findings through policy briefs, publications, and education forums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Relevant educational background in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related disciplines.
- Work Experience: 8–10 years of experience designing and executing capacity-building interventions within the education sector (preferably in school settings).
- Government Relations: Strong, proven track record of working directly with government entities and a deep understanding of the Indian public education system.
- Project & Content Leadership: Outstanding project management skills with expertise in overseeing end-to-end training content development and delivery.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Hindi is required.
